Live from Minneapolis
Hi. I’m at John and Patty’s now. The concert last night was GREAT. Someone who went to the Wednesday night show said they played mostly Doolittle, and they did play a good chunk from that, but they also did some from Trompe le Monde and the Surfer Rosa/Come On, Pilgrim set, and Bossanova too. Oh, there were also some B-sides and covers. It was so great.
Today we went to Ikea, where Denny and I bought a coffee table and half a chair for the new house. Half a chair?, you ask. Well, we bought the frame (we’re calling it “the Kaspar” because our friend Kaspar loves that kind of chair), and we went to find the cushion, and they were out of both the colors we liked. So we’re going to try to get the cushion either online or make another trip up here some time. There were lots of nice things for very cheap at Ikea.
