Scary yet tasty fish
DC posted some pictures of the red snapper I prepared and he grilled last night. I especially like the middle one. Consider yourself warned: it is a cool but scary picture that features pointy teeth.
I am tired of working. It’s been a busy week, albeit short. I’ve got a lot to do over the weekend, too (including the first Sweet Charity rehearsal, at which the “Who in the Hell is Carmen [SanDiego]” mystery will be solved).
I’m hungry. Hungry for corn. Luckily, I have some at home. Last night I decided I would be sporty and jog from home to the Farmers’ Market, then walk back home with my purchases. They were selling a half dozen ears of corn for $2. It is harder than you might expect to carry six ears of corn home, especially when you are trying to be sporty about it and walk fast.
Excitingly, I saw everybody’s favorite Iowa City jogger, the very fit middle-aged guy with the blond mustache who wears the tiny little shorts. We had never crossed paths before; I’d just seen him from a distance. Up close, he was about what you’d expect: sweaty and a little weird.
