Villa outside Perugia
I found this really cool website that lists vacation rentals all over the world. Right now I’m lusting after this apartment just outside Perugia. Who wouldn’t want to spend a week or so tucked into the hills of Italy, just a 20-minute walk away from a lovely medieval town known for its international jazz scene and thriving univeristy culture? It’s close enough to Rome and Florence for day trips, and if you divide the price (the apartment can easily hold two couples), it’s cheaper than a hotel.
See, I’m only happy if I have at least one trip definitely planned and one more in the dreamy-dreamy stage. This is currently on dreamy-dreamy deck. I should just shut my piehole, though, because I’ve got so much travel coming up this summer/fall (some of it work-related) that I may be sick of it and totally broke by the time it’s all done.
Don’t go trying to begrudge me my travel fantasies, though. You’ll be sorry.
