Whoops, I forgot to post yesterday.  I need to be careful about that these days, or people are going to assume I went into labor.  I did not.

This week is all weird-feeling because of the unusual Tuesday.  Friday has come as a pleasant surprise.  I think I need to go to the mall tomorrow (horror of horrors) to finish up some holiday shopping.  That’s not very fun, but since I did 80% of my shopping online, it’s not so bad to just duck in and pick up a few things.  We’ll see if the fates agree.  Normally my strategy would be to get there right at opening time, but Denny’s mom and cousin Shannon are going to be in town for Shannon’s graduation (congratulations on the MBA, Shannon!), and I think we’re having breakfast and/or lunch.

That’s okay.  I will be brave.  I will make a strategy for getting through the mall without having to do any unnecessary doubling back (a technique I employ at the grocery store, and it makes a huge difference in my time spent shopping and my general attitude).  I will wear comfortable shoes.  I will not get overly annoyed by slow walkers because nowadays I am, in fact, a slow walker.

Or maybe a slow waddler.  I fear it has come to that.
