Ferrous Fumarate (I think that’s iron; it’s in my multivitamin)
Oh my lawdy, I feel 100 times better today. I still have some very exciting, chunky coughs (charming image, I’m sure), but I slept Ny-Quil-free last night and still managed to sleep through the whole night without waking myself up from coughing. I’m in much better spirits today, too. My symptoms seem localized and pretty easily remedied with a good blow of the nose, rather than the general malaise that had before. I do like the word “malaise,” though. It sounds like soup, like bouillabaisse.
Holy crap, it’s 94 degrees out. Denny and I are trying to hold out as long as we can in terms of not using the air conditioning; our central air needs to be replaced, and we’re trying to put it off. Fortunately, the basement of our house seems to stay at least 10 or 15 degrees cooler than the rest of the house, which is generally 5 or 10 degrees cooler than the out-of-doors. We’ve been hanging out in the basement a lot.
A LOT.
Fortunately, it’s pretty fun down there. That’s where the TV and DVD player are, and the computers, and the washer and dryer. We can put sheets on our heads and pretend we’re ghosts. Life is grand.
94 degrees, eh?
It’s snowing here in Salt Lake City.
That is all I will say. >:-O
