New computer, woo woo woo
I would like you to meet my new friend. You can’t see her exactly because the camera is built into her, but this is a pretty good approximation of what she looks like:

Okay, I won’t subject you to any more of those. I can see this camera being very handy for videoconferencing, if I were working from home or something. I hope my RAM arrives today, because the computer’s a bit pokey for now, but I bet that will improve significantly once I boost the RAM. I’m also interested in trying BootCamp an/or Parallels to see if it runs Windows as well as I hear it can. There are some games from my youth I want to play, and they’re only for Windows. I think/hope I can get a copy of Windows for cheap by being a university employee. We shall see…
Congratulations on the new machine. I’m not sold on the bevelized iSight; that seems to really cut down on the camera’s usefulness (although, your pictures here form a persuasive counterargument). I think the swollen eye shot should become your new PotA avatar.

Thanks for the info on Spain. We are planning a trip in September and this really helped. We will be in the Bsque region of France so I think we’ll cross the border and head down go to Rioja (looks beautiful) and then San Sebastian. We love to hike, are there places to hike in Rioja? How many days do you think we should spend there? We love to hike and drink wine. Thanks again.
