Bah bah arf arf
I’m not a pet person by any means (unless newts count), but I think even I would notice that my poodle was actually a sheep.
My favorite part of the article:Â “One couple said they became suspicious when they took their ‘dog’ to have its claws trimmed and were told it had hooves.”
A friend told me a similar anecdote of a Polish couple who discovered that their new puppy was actually a smuggled polar bear cub.
This is a fascinating post.
Hi-larious…
$1,600 is half of what a poodle fetches in Japan? Well, we have a slightly used model (sorry, Mason) we might be willing to export when the budget gets tight.
I just saw that this morning. Um, honestly, anyone who makes that mistake deserves to be swindled. Not that I’d encourage that kinda thing.
Do people who fall for urban legends reprinted as news articles also deserve to be swindled? 😉

That is funny. I often think that my little Olivia looks like an ewe. Guess I was right.
