Seafood extravaganza
I’m having a seafood partay the next couple of days, since Denny is away and he’s not crazy about the stuff.
Tonight I’m having a salmon steak with pesto (frozen from last year’s enormous basil crop), pan-roasted potatoes, and broccoli; tomorrow night I’m having shrimp linguine with lemon-garlic sauce. This is very exciting for me. It helps fill in the gaping hole in my heart (stomach) that emerges every time Denny goes away.
Wouldn’t that be really gross if that actually happened? All my stomach acid would come out and burn a hole in my shirt.
UPDATE: Here’s how it turned out. Oh man, it was really delicious.
