Non-demoninational holiday cheer
Yesterday my parents came to town to see the house and help us with a few tasks. The best part was going out and cutting a tree. We got some lights and ornaments and had a good time decorating it. There was some brief drama involving a string of semi-functional lights, but Denny and Dad exchanged them, and all was well.
The only unpleasant thing that’s happened this weekend is that Donatella (my car) wouldn’t start, or when she did start, she just sputtered. I’m going to try it again later. I hope it’s not too expensive to fix.
